I want my front teeth to look better but I do not want to wear braces. What do you recommend?
There are actually several options to consider, including veneers, bonding, and Invisalign. Natural looking, beautiful all-porcelain restorations can be bonded to your teeth to change the color, shape, or size, correct the alignment, and give you the beautiful smile that you have always wanted. This takes about two to three dental appointments versus the traditional two years it takes for braces to straighten crooked teeth. Another options is the Invisalign FDA approved clear aligner therapy that actually moves teeth, much like traditional braces. However, with Invisalign, there are no wires, brackets, or metal. They are much more pleasant, comfortable, removable, and in many cases, it’s a faster way to straighten teeth. The aligners are custom made for your teeth, and you can even preview your projected results before treatment begins!
What is smile design?
Great care is taken to design the perfect smile for each smile makeover clients. First, and foremost, we begin by listening to you! After we understand your needs and goals, we consider the shape of your face, color of your eyes, shape and contour of your lips. We evaluate factors like the symmetry of your eyes and nose to the other dimensions. These factors, combined with your input, help us to determine the perfect smile for you. Once you have your new smile, your confidence will soar!
Nothing frames the face better than an attractive and beautiful smile. People are drawn to you without knowing why. A brilliant smile radiates joy, excitement, health, and vitality. A smile is a celebration of life, a reflection of the heart and your number one asset.
Can you show me what my smile can look like ahead of time?
Yes, we would be glad to! We will study the features of your face, take the necessary radiographs as well as digital photographs and measurements to determine the best size, shape, and color of teeth to fit your face, and create the perfect smile for you. When you come back to the next appointment you will get to see a model of what we envision for your smile. Together, we will evaluate and design the roadmap for your smile makeover to create excellent end-results and the beautiful smile of your dreams. Our top priority is making sure that YOU are fantastically happy with your new smile.
How do I know when it is time to come in for a checkup?
For your average person, it is generally recommend that you have your teeth cleaned and examined every six months to maintain a healthy mouth. We take great care to consider each person as an individual patient and to determine how often he or she should come in for a check up in order to maintain optimal oral health.
For your convenience, after your first visit with us, we will go on and schedule your appointment for your next cleaning and check up; that way you can have the day and time that suits you best! Also, our team will then follow up with you as a courtesy to remind you of your next appointment with a post card and a phone call – we try our best to make things easy for you!
Do you accept referrals?
Yes we do! We are always looking forward to meeting new patients so we can provide them with the same excellent level of dental care that we provide our current patients. When one of our patients recommends a family member or friend to us, we believe that it is one of the highest compliments one can give. We appreciate this awesome level of trust and respect. A very special THANK YOU to all of our wonderful patients who continually send us great new patients! As a special way to thank you, we have developed a yearly referral rewards program. Ask us about our REFERRAL REWARDS program – it’s good - you’ll want to win!
I brush my teeth every day, but my breath is just not fresh. Is there anything I can do?
YES! We can help! Disorders and diseases of the oral cavity may cause up to 90% of all cases of halitosis, or “bad breath.” Some of the most common causes are: a dry mouth due to lack of flow of saliva during sleep, denture wearing, food retention, poor oral hygiene, dental decay, gingivitis, gum disease, an unclean tongue, alcohol consumption, and smoking. Most of these factors cause an increase in bacteria in the oral cavity. These bacteria produce nasty compounds that cause “bad breath.”
What is the treatment? We will work with you to begin an effective home care program including conventional tooth brushing and flossing, regular cleaning and brushing of the tongue, etc. We may also recommend a prescription strength oral rinse available only through dental professionals. Another option is Breath Rx products, including breath spray and mouthwash – they are an excellent solution for bad breath. Ask us more about what these products can do for you! They are particularly helpful during allergy season!
How can I safely whiten my teeth?
One telltale sign that it is a good time for you to whiten your teeth is if you are embarrassed to smile because of your teeth’s color. Yellowish-brownish teeth are the result of years of coffee, tea, or cola drinking and/or smoking. There is no reason to suffer any embarrassment because of the shade of your teeth! There is an easy way to whiten your teeth! Try it- you’ll be glad you did!
We have the capability to provide in-office whitening for very fast results with our ZOOM! one-hour professional teeth whitening system. If you don’t mind waiting one or two weeks for results, we also offer a professionally-supervised custom take-home whitening system that you can wear for as little as 30 minutes a day. Both techniques are individually tailored for each patient, both are perfectly safe, and both will give a brighter, whiter, and more beautiful smile.
