Dr. Frank Roach grew up in Monticello, Arkansas. His 2 brothers and a sister lived with their parents a few miles outside of town. They lived on a small farm-like piece of property that, at times, had cows and horses. A few summers they raised corn and tomatoes. As he grew up he played about every sport that he could. He excelled in swimming and football while keeping his grades up. Having a twin brother meant that everything was a competition. When it came to making good grades, the competition was fierce.
After high school, Dr. Roach went to play football at Ouachita Baptist University. He soon found out that biology and the sciences was his thing. He knew all his life we wanted to do something artistic and something with his hands. He decided dentistry was the perfect profession. His senior year he was captain of the football team and voted all conference at linebacker. Oddly, out of all of his accomplishments in life, those are the ones he is most proud of. Upon graduation, he applied and was accepted to University of Tennessee dental school in Memphis, TN. Dr. Frank Roach graduated from dental school is 1998 and worked for a few other dentists before moving to Atlanta, Ga in 2001 where he bought his dental practice in Norcross.
Over the last 22 years of practicing, Dr. Roach has spent countless hours of continuing education every year striving to stay at the forefront of his profession. Most years he exceeded his hours of CE required by the dental board. Around 2007 was when dental implants came to the scene as a predictable, long lasting way of replacing missing teeth. The dental implant is the best way to restore a missing tooth as it is almost identical in anatomy and appearance. This became his passion. Almost all of his CE was focused on the field of implants and bone grafting. He soon made a name for himself as he was a general dentist that was placing as many implants as the specialists were in his part of town. He progressed through several different implant systems/brands until he came across Biohorizon implants. He was impressed with their innovative design and success rates. He began using their system and in 2018 was the number one implant dentist for Biohorizons in the entire state of Georgia.
